One option for Filipino students to get a green card is by enrolling in a US university. One has to go through the admission procedures, and may even get a scholarship. So, you can start by looking at samples of personal statements for scholarships to prepare for the admission procedures. Some groups are even favorable to foreigners with a high technical background, which is encouraging. This is an option aside from getting married to a US citizen, and you can’t rely on the green card lottery since we’re ineligible. Although you do need to get a job and have the employer help you with the green card application. What do you guys think? Is this really a valid option?
